Wellness Exams:

Our pets can't communicate to us when they don't feel well, so wellness exams are an important part in keeping your pet healthy!  We use this opportunity to ask a detailed history and perform a physical examination from nose to tail.  Information from wellness exams can help detect early signs of illness or disease so that treatment can begin before progression.  This is also a great time for you to ask questions; no question is too silly or insignificant!  Finally, wellness exams give us an opportunity to discuss with you routine diagnostic testing or other preventatives that will help keep your pet healthy.

Vaccinations:

Vaccinations are an important part in the prevention of serious, sometimes deadly diseases.  Every pet is an individual, so our vaccine recommendations will be based on their specific lifestyle and threat of exposure.

Surgery:

We perform a wide range of surgical procedures.  From the routine surgeries, such as spays and neuters, to the more complex surgeries, our doctors are highly skilled in their surgical techniques.  Our anesthetic protocols are individualized to your pet's specific needs, and we put an emphasis on patient safety and pain control.  Our trained staff continuously monitors patients during anesthesia and the recovery period.

Grooming:

We offer full service grooming and bathing.  Our groomer will customize your pet's haircut style to match your requests.  We are also able to give medicated baths to help keep those skin conditions under control.

Pharmacy:

We maintain a fully stocked pharmacy for your convenience and to avoid any delay in starting treatment.

Laboratory:

We are able to run in-house bloodwork for your pets that allows us to evaluate organ function and analyze for evidence of anemia, infection, and other blood disorders, all while getting results back to you on the same day.  We send samples to reputable diagnostic labs for tests we are unable to perform in our laboratory.

Radiology:

X-rays allow us to evaluate almost any organ system such as lungs, heart, gastrointestinal tract, and of course bones.  With our digital radiography system, we are able to acquire diagnostic images very quickly and have results almost immediately.

Dental Cleanings:

Dental health is very important in our pets.  A thorough cleaning is important to control gingivitis and calculus build-up, which can predispose to other health problems such as bacteria entering the bloodstream and causing an internal infection.  Also, we are able to perform a thorough dental examination and extract any diseased and painful teeth.  Last but not least, a dental cleaning freshens your pet's stinky breath!

Boarding:

We provide boarding options for cats and dogs.  Our cats are kept in a location separate from the dogs with special cat condos that give them multiple levels to jump to as they would like.  Our dogs are kept indoors and taken outside to use the bathroom twice a day, but are not commingled with other dogs for safety and health reasons.

Cremation:

For end of life considerations, we offer cremation service.  We also have decorative urns that you can purchase to memorialize your pet.

Emergency Services:

We are on call for emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Please call 785-562-3591 in case of an emergency.
